Categories for clinical and basic science abstracts are:

General Submission Guidelines

• Your abstract text can be no more than 300 words. Longer abstracts will not be allowed.
• We suggest that you prepare and save your abstract text off-line before beginning your submission, as you will be able to copy and paste from a word processing program document.
• At the end of submission, you will have an opportunity to review the abstract carefully to make sure that everything displays correctly.
• Please note that the submission system will not accept equations, graphics, or tables.
• All correspondence (by email), including acceptance notification, will be with the corresponding author only. Please update your email address if changed.
• Note: When navigating the system, use the control panel or "Submit" buttons to advance through the submission; avoid the "Back" button.

Regular Abstracts

• Regular Abstracts submitted by the May 20 deadline will, with rare exceptions, be accepted for publication in the proceedings of the meeting and presentation as either a 10-minute oral talk or a poster.
• Notification of acceptance for Regular Abstracts will be e-mailed to the corresponding author before June 20, 2008.
• No names or titles should be included in the abstract title or text. Nor should the abstract title appear in the text. Names will be automatically hidden during the abstract review process and will be automatically inserted and properly formatted upon publication.
• Presenting authors will be automatically informed of the unique ID numbers and passwords assigned to their abstracts. Abstracts may be viewed and modified at any time between submission and the deadline, using the assigned ID# and password.
